Research Paper Process Reflection4/17/2018 This blog post is a reflection for my Research paper and how I wrote my paper and what I could have done better to make it better. While watching the Reflective Writing video I realized my way of writing my paper is very wrong. I will definitely make many revisions to my paper and resubmit it more.

Annotated Bibliography4/9/2018 1. Source Entry: Where to Invade Next, Michael Moore, 2015
Link: Where to Invade Next In the documentary Where to Invade Next, Michael Moore visits different countries to try and find ideas that would help benefit the United States. He visits Italy, France, Finland, Slovenia, Germany, Portugal, Norway, Tunisia, and Iceland. They all give him some great things to bring back to the US, but he realizes that all the ideas that they gave him originally came from the US. I realized that most of the countries he visited did what they did just so they do not get sick. Unlike in American boss's do not care if your sick they just want you in their to work that way they can make more money. Michael Moore tries to bring back great ideas that he can use for United States. Michael Moore also realizes that all the ideas their giving him to bring back are originally from the United States. It is just happening better in different countries. He also is my main source for my research paper because he made me think about our situations over in the United States and how others are doing in different countries. There were many different topics I could have chosen but I chose "Should the American government Provide tuition-free undergraduate college education for all American citizens?" This source will help me defend myself in my research paper. 2. Source Entry: Pros and cons of tuition free college, Ellen Anderson, 2018 Link: Pros and Cons of tuition-free college On this website It discusses the pros and cons of tuition free colleges. It helps For my paper because I can think of how people can fight me on my decision and it can make me think of some of the stuff I might say so that I can defend myself. On this website I focused mainly on the pros for my paper and how it can help me defend my paper. I used this source twice just so I can focus on the pros first then go on to the cons. One Pro that really popped out to me was 'Student debt will no longer crush the younger generations." I will use this for my source because it will help me think of more ways and different ideas for the paper. This is my second source because I needed to see what is very good and bad for tuition free colleges. I thought it was just good but didn't realize there could be a bad part to get something that big for free. 3. This time I focused on the cons of free tuition college. One con that was very deep to me was "College might not seem as important." College. When i think of college I think old dudes, tough classes, and not being able to do what you want. I always though of a college as something big and important. People might not think a college diploma is very important. I can think of that while writing my paper. I used the cons as my third source because this can help me on what others might say against me. That way I have something ready to say back and i'm not caught off guard. 4. Source Entry: College Tuition and Student Debt, 2013 Link: College Tuition and Student Debt I used the library database to find this source. This website gave me many of things to think about and write in my paper. This website shows how someones income might change, how debt will change, and loans. It explains how they change and increase for others just for free tuition. The website shows how much money would be spent if we get free tuition. It would also help people not have debt until there 60. It has to be a ton of money to be in debt that long. Also, people have other things to pay for like car payments, kids, or a house. It already too much to worry about and adding on student debt makes it even harder. 5. Source Entry: Free, 2015 Link: Free I am using this source just to define what "Free" is. In the source is says "without payment, without obstruction." If its "free" is it actually free. When it says without payment it makes you happy until you get the bill for it. When its online and it says "free just pay for shipping and handling." When it says that they actually charge the price through the shipping and handling. It just wants you to go and look at stuff and like it by saying its free when its really not. Also, it can be part of an argument so i'm using it. Source Entry: This is college students biggest worry, Martha C. White, 2015 Link: This is college students biggest worry Stress is the biggest thing college students worry about in my opinion. School doesn't matter if you cant even pay to go there. This article explains why students struggle the most. it gives many statistics and stuff to help my research paper. In this article It shows the precent most college students are in after college. It also explains how money problems keep people up at night. Its sad because people should be getting to sleep throughout the night and not worrying all night long. Where to Invade Next? An Argument3/31/2018 While giving a summary of Where to Invade Next, In my Summary and Rhetorical Analysis of Where to Invade Next blog post I realized that Michael Moore had some great main points. In this blog post I will be picking three main topics throughout the documentary and writing a research question on each topic. 1. Topic: Education
Research Question: Should the American government provide tuition-free undergraduate college education for all American citizens? Argument: The American government should provide tuition-free undergraduate college education for all American Citizens because less people would be in debt for trying to get a high paying job and paying off the real world bills and would give more people less stress. 2. Topic: Drug usage Research Question: Should the American government eliminate all penalties for drug use? Argument: The American government should eliminate all penalties for drug use because people would not do them as much and would get sick of it over time and just end up not doing it anymore. Also, there would be less people in our jails and more room for real people who do worse things. 3. Topic: Womens power Research Question: How might America change if women gained more power in government, business, and education? Argument: If women gained more power in the government, business, and education their would be more long term effects the short term. Also, women think through more topics and think about others unlike how men just think about themselves. IIn the documentary Where to Invade Next, Michael Moore visits different countries to try and find ideas that would help benefit the United States. Ethos means Author and Michael Moore is the author. Throughout the whole film he is the author and explains the whole film his way. He also uses logos to explain in debt that what he's looking fro in each country and what he finds out. Logos means text and the text that Michael Moore gives us tells us information that we can see. Michael Moore appeals to pathos by entertaining us and by giving us information that makes us stay focused on what he's saying and making us want to hear more information we did not know. Pathos means audience and he connects with me very well and i keep wanting to hear more. Michael Moores telos is to inform us with the invormation taht other countries are better then us and they are using our own ideas.
